You are probably wondering why we decided to make yet another celebrity-oriented blog, as if there are not enough already, so we thought it would be a good idea to answer this and many other questions you might have about us.
This section of the blog is dedicated to our journey towards making this blog, our reason for making it and what to expect from the blog content. So, sit back and enjoy reading!
How We Chose the Blog’s Topic
Just like many other bloggers and other content creators online, the idea for this project first came to us during the pandemic. We did bake bread and bought new plants at the beginning of the first lockdown (oh, we were sweet summer children), but all this got old pretty soon and we found ourselves endlessly browsing Netflix.
We did binge a couple of great shows and found some entertaining films, but this too got old eventually. So, we migrated to YouTube, watching funny videos and such until we came upon a gold mine – the hidden Atlantis known as the video essay YouTube.
These videos, which usually had a length between 40 minutes and 2 hours, dissected each and every topic at hand and all that was left to us was to marvel at the content creators who put in so much work to give us all the details concerning a certain matter and their own analysis of it.
Unlike TV shows and films, finding a great video essay proved to be much easier and again, due to the pandemic, more and more content creators popped up, while Hollywood was struggling to produce new content because of the lockdowns.
To this day, we watch at least two video essays per week on topics such as celebrity scandals, fictional character analysis, and also history. There is an endless mine for all those who seek it, most usually Netflix migrants.
We loved that concept and we thought about starting our own channel, but we are all back to the office now, so we don’t have the time to be professional YouTubers who pump a few videos a week.
The blog format seemed like a much easier medium to handle and we could all contribute on topics that we found interesting, each one of us putting their own twist on everything we post here, rather than us having individual YouTube channels.

So, you now know that we were inspired by the video essay format, but how does this translate to the page? There will be no videos, but the essence of the video essay will be forever present – the deep dive that means to extract every bit of information from every topic we’ll cover.
We want our articles to be exhaustive, because we know how tiresome it is to Google search a topic and have to cycle through at least 10 articles to learn everything about a topic. We wish to be your sole source, which is why we aim to deliver detailed and concise deep dives into the lives of the celebrities you care about.
