Zac Efron to star in “Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud”?

High School Musical star Zac Efron is in negotiations to once again star in a Burr Steers film. This film is an adaptation of the novel “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.”

The novel is about a caretaker at a cemetery who has weekly meetings with his dead younger brother.

Production on this film would begin in July. What do you think of this? Would you have rather seen Zac Efron in Footloose?
