Could a remake of the 1959 Classic, “Gidget” be in the works?
The original film starring Sandra Dee and James Darren followed a teenager girl who couldn’t really find her place, when she happens to stumble upon a group of Surfers. The original film spawned other movies and a short-lived tv series.
Reportedly, Miley is being courted to play the role of Gidget and Zac Efron to play the role of Jeff, or “Moondoggy.” Sources are also saying that Brittany Snow is being solicited to play a part in the remake.
Can you imagine Miley saying the words, “Oh, Moondoggy?” I can’t really see Zac doing this remake…can you?
