According to the National Enquirer, teen super-couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are engaged! Zac is rumored to have proposed while the two were in Japan, promoting High School Musical 3. The National Enquirer says:
” Zac… proposed to Vanessa during a joint trip to Japan in late January, say sources. The two are planning a long engagement and will tie the knot in 2010.
Zac hasn’t given Vanessa a ring yet, say sources – but he’s hoping the proposal will buy him some time with Vanessa’s super-strict mom, Gina, who didn’t approve of the sweethearts living together before they were married.”
Now, while the National Enquirer isn’t always the most reliable, they do get stories right. They were even the first to break the Vanessa Hudgens Nude Photo scandal. So, no official word on this yet, but if it is true, it’s pretty exciting!
