After this picture of 90210 star, Shenae Grimes, hit the internet, rumors were instantly circulating that Shenae, as well as co-star Jessica Stroup, had an eating disorder. In the photo, you can clearly see Shenae’s bony limbs and ribs. Shenae denied the claims, saying that she’s always been skinny and she doesn’t have any problems eating!
9. Balthazar Getty and Sienna Miller
What makes it controversial?
When photos emerged of a nude Sienna Miller kissing on a very-married Balthazar Getty, fans of Getty’s hit show, Brothers and Sisters, were outraged. Getty and Miller have continued their affair for a good part of the year. Recently, reports have been circulating that Getty has been dropped from the show. “What I did for love”, right Balthazar?
8. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens
What makes it controversial?
13 year old girls around the world were shocked when photos of HSM couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens in a SEX SHOP were leaked! Celebrity entertainment sight Oceanup.com was featuring “Fan Photos”, and when this got submitted, they couldn’t post it fast enough! What kind of example are these two setting for young adults?!
7. Sarah Palin
What makes it controversial?
Although she is far from “Under 25″, what would a controversial photo list be with out naked pictures of the former Vice Presidential candidate? As if Sarah Palin didn’t have enough strikes against her, a nude photo from her pagent days was leaked!! Eeek. She might not have won the election, but she’ll always have her hotness!
6. Adrienne Bailon
What makes it controversial?
As if Disney hasn’t had enough of their stars taking their clothes of, former Cheetah Girl, Adrienne Bailon decided to get in the mix. After her laptop was stolen, nude photos of the starlet were all over the internet. It now seems that Adrienne will be using these photo’s to start-up her career with Playboy, who offered her a deal after seeing the pics!
5. Britney Spears
What makes it controversial?
Over the past few years, people have come to expect the worst out of Britney Spears. But in January of 2008, she hit rock bottom. When photos emerged of Britney, strapped to a stretcher and being escorted to a psychiatric ward, people got worried. But ever the come-back queen, Britney has had a banner year. She has even managed to release a hit album! Keep it up in 2009, Brit!
4. Brooke and Hulk Hogan
What makes it controversial?
What about this photo isn’t controversial? After seeing Hulk apparently rubbing his daughter, Brooke’s, butt, I was feeling pretty sick. When Brooke saw the photos, she simply replied “He’s changed my diapers.” Sorry Brooke, but that is no excuse for this!
3. Daniel Radcliffe
What makes it controversial?
When people heard that Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe would be stripping down naked for his leading role in Equus, the tickets started selling. Once the promotional photos were released, several parents of young Potter fans spoke up. Many felt that Dan was setting a bad example for his very young fan base. Thankfully, Dan kept right on taking those clothes off!
2. Gossip Girl
What makes it controversial?
Once again, parents were in an uproar after seeing the promotional ads that CW released for their hit TV show, Gossip Girl. Parents seemed to think that the pictures of Blake Lively very obviously caught in a passionate embrace was too much. CW stuck to their guns though, and ran the ad campaign anyways!

While Miley Cyrus had a slew of controversial pictures this year, (green bra, in bed with a guy, etc) none created more buzz than her Vanity Fair cover, shot by Annie Liebowitz. Not only did 15-year-old Miley appear naked and wrapped in a sheet, she also had some creepy-too-close photos with her Dad. Miley immediately apologized for the photos and her dad claimed she was tricked into taking them!
After such a crazy year in Hollywood, we can only wait and hope that 2009 brings just as much entertainment!

I’m not sure why she, or Billy Ray for that matter, would allow this particular photo. It’s pretty evident she was attempting an older, mature, sexy?, photo. However, she looks like Linda Blair in the exorcist AFTER she became possessed: the dirty hair, the pale chubby face and neck, the dark circles under her eyes adding to the chubby possessed cherubic angel look. If it that was to be the word “totally” and a shortcut, it contains more keystrokes than the word it was to replace. So, let’s look at this sentence using English. “Meg Murray, I totally agree with you that she is a total slut.” Wow, the one makes you look like a complete idiot, and the other one makes you sound like you have a brain. If you were trying to cut down on keystrokes, the second example (Correct English) only has two more keystrokes. Hmmm…..
