DeAndre Ramone Way aka Soulja Boy was in fact robbed on December 30th his rep now confirms although not many more details are being provided.
The 18-year-old rapper responsible for the 2007 hit “Crank That(Soulja Boy)” was reportedly hanging out at his house with some friends when six men allegedly broke in and robbed the crew at gunpoint.
Well the dudes that were responsible for the robbery got mad because the details surrounding the incident were wrong so they figured a YouTube video explaining what actually happened would be the next logical step.
Seriously? I mean, I guess they were smart to cover their faces and disguise their voices but it seems pretty ridiculous to post such a video. (Watch the vid here – excuse the language.)
Looks like he better turn in all that “bling” and invest in locks for his doors or a security system.
Hopefully the teen will be able to buy some more jewelry with the cash flow from his second album iSouljaBoyTellEm which was released on December 16th. So far, he looks like a one-hit wonder.
