Wizards of Waverly Place actress Selena Gomez has now publicly denied rumors that she and teen heartthrob Taylor Lautner are an item. Selena and Taylor were rumored to be dating after several photographed outings in Vancouver ended up on the web. Taylor was in town shooting Twilight sequel, ‘New Moon‘, while Selena was there shooting ‘Ramona and Beezus‘.
But Sel attempted to put rumors to rest on Extra on Monday when she insisted she was still single. “He’s [Taylor] one of my good friends. I’m single — definitely single.”

because they probably already went out and didn’t work out, so now they are not anymore, it happens she’s 16 she’s not going to date someone for that long.
