Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson says he isn’t looking forward to filming New Moon- all because he has to wear uncomfortable contact lenses!
Robert said that inspite of signing a multi-million dollar contract to reprise his role of heartthrob Edward Cullen, he is still dreading the new venture due to the painful topaz contacts.
Rob recently told Ok! Magazine, ” Wearing coloured contact lenses… It was like I constantly had sand in my eyes. I was wearing them for three months constantly and my eyes never ever accepted them! It took me 20 minutes per eye every single day and I ended up having to literally fold it into my eyeball.”
Pattinson also feared that the lenses were inhibiting his performance, swearing that he couldn’t portray Edwards proper emotions due to the pain. “It was frustrating as well because normally your eyes are saying something, but if you’ve got two orange blobs in your face it’s so annoying! The director (Catherine Hardwicke) would say, ‘Look at her (Kristen Stewart) like you love her,’ and I’d be like, ‘I’m trying!’ I’m going to have to do it again because we’re making the sequel next year.”

poor rob just try and get used to it. think of the money and all the girls you’ll attract and if you actually tried i don’t think you’d have a dating problem. for instance i would definately date you.
I thought Edward did a fantastic job at portraying his feelings towards Bella. I could read every emotion with his eyes. This movie is probably the best love story I have seen. Can’t wait for the sequel.

I know what it’s like, i wore coloured contacts for a party last year, and it really does feel like they’re rubbing your eyes raw! It’s was terrible! Anyway!!, LOVE Rob, but LOVE Taylor 80% more!
