Rihanna will head to Malaysia to perform next month and she is reportedly planning on changing up her usual skimpy attire for something more appropriate while in the mainly Muslim country.
Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne were protested by the conservative Muslim Malaysians and the group the Pussycat Dolls were fined a whooping $3,000 because they didn’t cover up enough and disobeyed the decency regulations.
Rihanna will try to keep the people of Malaysia happy and her people are well “aware of the country’s regulations and the difficulties of doing a show.”
The government guidelines state that a female performer must be covered from the top of her chest, including her shoulders, to her knees. (From the pictures I’ve seen of her concerts, I doubt she has enough fabric to cover that much of her in her whole concert wardrobe!)
Despite the controversy over her sexiness, the tickets for the February 13th stop are selling well.
So the title for the concert should change from “Good Girl Gone Bad” to “Good Girl Gone Bad But Then Back To Good.”
