Twilight fans listen up! The tentative release date for New Moon is November 20th, 2009! Here are some details about the new film!
Any director who signs on to replace Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke has to be in Vancouver by Dec. 15 to begin 12 weeks of pre-production before a mid-March start date. Reports have speculated that Hardwicke was fired for being difficult on set, but sources close to her suggest Summit’s aggressive production schedule turned her off. “She’d love to do the sequel if she could do it better than Twilight,” says one. “It became clear that Summit didn’t have those same priorities.”
Indeed, at press time the second movie appeared to have little more than a rough first-draft working script. As Summit’s production president Erik Feig told EW during Twilight’s record-busting first weekend, “There is that first…script. All the finesse that turns a screenplay into a movie hasn’t happened yet.” Two weeks later, Summit is saying it’s happy with screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg’s progress.
Hopefully New Moon will be better than Twilight! I know all of the fans are looking forward to an EXCELLANT sequel!

i cant wait for eclipse. i hope they put alot of sexual tension in it. otherwise its going to be a let down from the book.

hey, i’m a recent fan
saw the film and decided to read the books. ive read twilight and new moon (just bought the rest of the books and the DVD) and i cant wait to see the relationship between jacob and bella on screen, its somehow better when its tangible. Oh and i really hope the italy/Volturi scene is amazing cos thats the best part of the book!
apart from when Bella and Jacob almost kiss- intense or what!
The movie was a let down from the book, as most are, but it wasn’t a complete failure. They have the perfect cast, but more of the significant detail that was left out should be included. Also, slightly changing the sequence of events in the movie and throwing in an occasional quote from the book here and there made the movie a bit corny… But, I too cannot deny that I still absolutely LOVE EDWARD and can read the books and watch the movie over and over again!!!! I hope the upcoming movies can incorporate the sexual tension as well… After all, that and the fighting scenes are what keep us readers on the edge of our seats, giddy and anxious to turn the next page.
