Setting a fine example for young women everywhere, Miley Cyrus busted out her pole last night during her performance at the Teen Choice Awards.

It just looks like Miley Cyrus isn’t talented enough to perform fully clothed and without a pole. Why does growing up have to be associated with dressing like a streetwalker? Scarlett Johansen is sexy, but in a tasteful way. What’s wrong with that? No one but the teeny boppers are going to take her seriously now.
my little sister was watching the teen choice awards lastnight, and i was in the room on the computer, but when miley performance came up the first thing i could think of was omg!. Her outfit was crazy. Then the pole thing got me. But she is a pretty girl, and funny. I dont know much about her, disney channel & teen/kids choice awards isnt my thing. But, i dont like the simple fact that she has a show called “hannah montana” then she suppose to be “herself” also in the show. Then she has “hannah montana” being out here in the big world with concerts for lil kids. Then she want to be a singer on her own, its like to many ppl in one lol. I think she should just leave the lil show alone and grow up. She is a very pretty girl like i said before, i know alot of people dont like her to much, they say this and that, but its w/e she and everyone else around us is going to do there own thing regardless reather others like it or not, where not living for each other so we should all just leave ppl lives alone. No i dont agree with half of the things she do, For instance: have older boyfriends, take certain pictures [ which kids out here do anyway] but she is alot of younger kids idol so she should manage what she do, i have seen her on a reality show and she seems pretty annoying to me, lol but its w/e. But her performance was very grown up like, very matture. They pole thing was crazy. I think they tried to use the pole as an excuse for her to hold onto it when they was moving it. Honestly the entertainment industry is face pace, and i dont like the way she go about herself. Alot of ppl in the world do the same things shes doing, so there should be no name calling towards her behalf just because shes famous. Smh!*.’
I totally agree with cutiegirl…on a side note, she sounded good and i thought she has some hot moves! Who doesn’t want to be sexy and show it? If you got it flaunt it and if your in the HOT POP music biz that’s what ppl want. If you want to be ‘in’ you got to give the ppl what they want and surprisingly we/they like to see sexy, hot moves, good voices and just entertainment. So, ppl who are not liking this video likes to see ppl in turtlenecks and sweatpants? I understand with the whole thing that she’s a role model for younger kids (it was almost the same with Britney Spears)but should that really stop Miley from doing what she wants? Why would she cover up and do things the conservative way just so ppl won’t talk? The question is why wouldn’t she want ppl to talk? When people WOW us, like this, it’s mostly done on purpose, even if it’s not ‘good’ stuff. I guess I can just imagine if I was Miley growing up being 16 I would want to put on a show and be sexy just like everyone else. However, to think like me and to think of the reality of this, you can’t be a concervative person…because those people just don’t agree in general with the provacativeness that is out there.

MY MOTHER IN LAW HAD BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT MILEY AND HAD SHOWED ME THE PICS OF THIS SO CALLED POLE DANCE SO OF COURSE KNOWING MY 3 YR OLD LOVES HANNAH MONTANA I HAD TO CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO. I MUST SAY THIS IS ALL SILLY. SHE IS DANCING ON AN ICE CREAM CART WHICH WOULD NORMALLY HAVE AN UMBRELLA AT THE TOP OF THE POLE. IT’S NOT A STRIPPER POLE AND SHE DIDN’T EVEN DANCE ON IT! SHE DID A LITTLE DIP TO GET CLOSER TO FANS. JUST LIKE MOST SINGERS WILL DO WHEN ON STAGE. ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE OUTFIT SHE HAS ON IS WHAT DO DANCERS WEAR. THEY WEAR SKIMPY LEOTARDS BECAUSE THAT IS A PART OF THE PERFORMANCE. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT SHE IS DOIN’ PERFORMING!!!!!!!!!!! ITS NOT LIKE THAT IS WHAT SHE IS WEARING EVERYDAY OF HER LIFE. ON TOP OF ALL THIS YOUR KIDS SHOULDN’T HAVE TO LOOK UP TO ANY STAR TO LEARN MORALS AND VALUES. THEY SHOULD LEARN HOW TO ACT AND DRESS AND HOW TO TREAT OTHER PEOPLE ETC… FROM THE GROWN UPS IN THEIR LIVES. IT IS ALL THE PARENTS JOB!
I saw the performance it was good and to tell you the truth there are girls that are not only younger but do worst things then she can ever do…I am not a fan of her at all because i don’t like her music but I do think that she is NOT a whore , the pole was there for balance all thou she shouldn’t have danced with it; and the clothes were for her performance it’s not like she wears that on a day to day basis. And Candy is right you shouldn’t let your children be influence by stars because that is like them not being themselves, it is completely up to the adults to show them right from wrong not celebs.
Miley Cyrus is a terrible role model for young girl, and her father should be ASHAMED, but instead he is cheering her along the way. She dresses like a “SLUT” and a “STRIPPER POLE”?? Youve got to be kinding me!?! Disney should cut her show, and let her do her own thing with her NO TALENT. She needs to stay a child instead of trying to exploit herself. I mean really what has the world come to?? And for people to think this is acceptable…I know a lot of teens are this way but when you decide you want to be in the public eye, you make the decision to also take on the postion of a role model. Child stardom ruins the life of too many, look at Michael Jackson(I love michael). Im just saying!!!
