It’s a big week for Miley! She just started driving and she found out that her animated movie Bolt is feeling the love today after being nominated for 2 Golden Globe Awards.
And the nominations are…..
1. Best Animated Film [up against Kung Fu Panda and WALL-E]
2. Best Original Song – “I Thought I Lost You” music and lyrics by Miley Cyrus [up against four songs I've never heard of from the movies WALL-E, Gran Torino, Cadillac Records and The Wrestler]
The movie and song are also up for 2 Critic’s Choice Awards.
1. Best Song: “I Thought I Lost You”
2. Best Animated Feature: Bolt
The Golden Globes are awarded on January 11th and the Critic’s Choice Awards will be handed out on January 8th.
Bolt, which features Miley Cyrus and John Travolta, has pulled in $79.4 million during its three weeks in theaters and continues to be high on the must-see list.
Miley told People Magazine, “I’m so stoked! I never expected to get nominated. I can’t believe I’m on the same list as Clint Eastwood, Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen and everyone else.”
And who will be on her arm for the event?
“I would love to have two dates. I would love John Travolta to be my date because this is our movie, and Jeffrey [Steele] because he wrote the song with me and he’s such a good friend.”
