Ann July 7, 2009 at 2:57 pm: I thought this was one of the best performances of the event. John Mayer did a wonderful job. I have read other comments on other sites slamming his performance, but his along with Stevie’s was by far the best. I had never heard him play before although i’d heard much about his work. I am impressed. It was a very soulful and thoughtful rendition of a great song. No words needed.
