Jennifer Hudson
Former American Idol contestant and Academy Award winning actress Jennifer Hudson performed The Star Spangled Banner at Super Bowl XLIII on Sunday night in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Hudson recently persevered through personal tragedy when her mother, brother, and nephew were brutally murdered in November of 2008. Jennifer had perhaps one of the most memorable openers in Super Bowl history and showed fans why she earned her Academy Award, for her amazing voice!

Hudson’s performance (lip-synched or not) was one of the best parts of the Super Bowl — second to the ads of course
