Apparently, former Disney starlet Hilary Duff is dying to join the cast of the upcoming film, New Moon. Hilary was seen chatting with Vampire-Dad Peter Facinelli backstage at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week! A source told Hollyscoop exclusively, “Hilary told Peter how bad she wants to be in the next Twilight movie. Hilary said that she would want to be one of the vampires in the movie.”

I think she should wait for the fourth movie casting, since, as she is a blonde, the only vampire roles in the saga she could qualify for, would be the the vampire sisters of the Denali Clan, Tanya, Kate or Irina. I think the role of Kate would be perfect for her, since in the fourth book, this character ends up with a new mate in the personna of Garrett, a patriotic nomad vampire. And we have all seen how Hilary is a complete sweetling in teen movies, where she always ends up with the perfect guy.

Most people who are talking their mess about Hilary Duff do not know a single thing about her. To say she needs to toughen up her image, or shes too bubbly compared to the rest of the cast? Unless you are there, on set with the other actors, how would you know, and what does that matter? Being bubbly and happy offset and off screen, does not matter to what she could portray on the movie screen, and thats the whole point of “acting”. If she were to be given a spot on any of the movies it is because she will be able to ACT and conform to any part they give her.
