Current American Idol champ, David Cook, is reportedly shopping for engagement rings. David has been dating AI season 2 contestant Kimberly Caldwell since May.
According to a report featured in this week’s issue of Star Magazine, David plans to pop the question over the holidays, and has his heart set on presenting Kimberly with an extravagant 2-carat diamond and platinum ring from Tiffany’s to seal the deal.
Asking price on the ring? $54,000.
“He’s not used to spending that kind of money on jewelry, so he needs to give it some thought.”
$54,000 is a pretty nice ring…but is that 2 months of salary?

David can kiss his career good-bye if he marries that sl*t. How sad for him! Talk about life’s big mistakes …. this will be one to forget! I bet she got herself pregnant or something like that just to get her hooks in him. She’s the type that would do it.
Oh and I feels sorriest for David’s lovely mother, Beth … ugh, can’t imagine a trampy daughter-in-law like that.
