TMZ is reporting that Hayden Panettiere has turned herself into police. Apparently Hayden was partying in a 21 and over club in New York…only problem? Hayden isn’t 21!!
According to reports, a club bouncer noticed that the music fan seemed a bit too young for the venue.
After checking Panettiere’s ID and noticing the date of birth—Hayden’s only 19—but not the famous face attached to it, club staffers confiscated the ID and tossed the actress out, in accordance with state regulations.
Hayden reacted by pitching a fit and calling the cops in an effort to retrieve her ID.
Amazingly, the police honored the request, showing up at the club, taking the ID card back from the club, and returning it to Panettiere.
For the record, sources say that the Heroes actress hadn’t been drinking while at the club.
