Glee Diva Lea Michele Rescues Kittens
Glee’s resident diva Lea Michele retracted her claws to rescue 6 kittens found on the Paramount Studios set. Michele dished to People that she couldn’t just leave the poor little kitties and intervened to help them find homes. She stated: “They probably would have been eaten, so I rescued them.”
Michele found homes for four of the cuddly fur babies within her director’s homes, gave one kitten to Heather Morris, and kept two for herself.
This is not Michele’s first foray in animal rescuing. She recently assisted a dog chained to a fence in Long Beach and, as she said to PEOPLE, quickly: “made the people at Glee send the dog to the vet, and we had him cleaned up. My mother always said, ‘Stand for something, or you’ll fall for everything.’ I feel like animals don’t have a voice.”
Fortunately, Michele has a voice as her role as Rachel Berry on the hit FOX show.
