Classic Hollywood stars Faye Dunaway and the ever handsome Warren Beatty are less than thrilled that director Tonya S. Holly will be directing a remake of their classic film, Bonnie and Clyde. Both of the actors asked “Why?” when they heard the news that “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde” was in the works.

Faye Dunaway was especially saddened by the choice to cast former Disney starlet Hilary Duff as the leading role. ”Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?” the award-winner said.

The Story Of Bonnie & Clyde is set to be released in 2010.

Do you think Faye’s words were a little too harsh? Shouldn’t Hilary be given a chance to impress??

I agree with faye. If your going to remake a classic don’t make the star of the movie be a “actress” like Hilary duff. Why should faye give her a chance to impress? EVERYTHING Hilary has been in was terrible. I would be pissed if i knew someone that talentless was doing a remake of a classic i starred in. Faye might’ve been a bit blunt, but she was on point with her opinion. Hilary Duff just needs to stop, all she has too offer is a pretty face.

I think this movie very well could be Hilarys BIG breakthrough, and by the way it’s not the actor/actress but the director and caster, I mean how many movis that COULD have been good did misscasted people such as Jessica Alba, Megan Fox and Daniel Radcliff not RUIN… I didn’t either think Hilary could act for real, untill I saw War. Inc,… hell even Sarah Michelle Gellar and Renee Zellweger has had missfires in their careers!
