Sugarslam had the pleasure of interviewing Ken Baumann, who plays Ben Boykewich on the ABC Family smash hit ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’.

Sugarslam: How is life different now with the role of Ben? Can you go out at all?
Ken: It is different. I made the mistake of going to Disneyland with my agent and I was mobbed for like an hour near the teacups. All these little girls asking for autographs, moms asking for autographs. It was fun. But if that’s the worst thing, then I’m pretty happy.
Sugarslam: What are some activities that you do in your free time?
Ken: I write, I actually have a novel that I’m attempting to shop around. I like to read and write in my down time. I attempt to keep myself busy during my down time.
Sugarslam: Tell us what goes on between takes on set?
Ken: I’m a very big joker! I hang out with the guys on set. Darren and I have a good time.
Sugarslam: Who is your favorite actor?
Ken: Daniel Day-Lewis, I think he’s one of the finest actors of this generation.
Sugarslam: What is your favorite movie?
Ken: That’s a tough one but probably 2001 Space Odyssey. Any film by Stanley Kubrick or Michael Haneke.
