Although Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and Daniel Radcliffe are internationally known for their portrayal of their magical trio in the Harry Potter series, they had to wait to see the fate of their characters, just like everyone else! MTV recently caught up with Emma Watson and had to know her opinion on how the final novel turned out! So what exactly did Emma think of the end of the series and her relationship with Ron? (spoilers after jump)
The first question MTV asked was what she thought of Hermione’s marriage to Rupert’s character, Ron Weasley! “I was thrilled really. Ron was the right person for her to be with. I think it was amazing that they had kids. It was perfect.”
When Emma was asked if she and co-star Rupert Grint had talked about their inevitable and highly anticipated kiss, she responded quickly! “God no! We haven’t discussed it. I think we’ll have to cross that bridge when we come to it.”
Watson also shared the scene she was most looking forward to filming! “The scene that really touched me is Ron’s betrayal of Hermione, him leaving her. There’s that wonderful scene where he comes back and Hermione just launches herself at him and starts hitting him and is uncontrollably angry at him and disappointed in him for abandoning her. I’m looking forward to that because it felt very real when I read it.”
The next film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, is set to be released in theatres on July 17, 2009!
