Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s MD, Awaiting Trial
Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s MD, will return to court for his involuntary manslaughter trial in January 2011. The news follows an August 23, 2010 hearing which ended with Murray pleading not guilty to felony charge of involuntary manslaughter for prescribing the medication/s involved in Michael Jackson’s death. The Houston, Texas doctor claims that his innocence despite prescribing Jackson the powerful anesthesia Propofol to “help him sleep” in addition to various other sedatives and medications.
An autopsy following Michael Jackson’s June 25, 2009 death revealed toxic levels of drugs, including Propofol, in the singer’s system as the cause of his death.
Reports indicate that following yesterday’s hearing, a crowd outside of the courthouse yelled “Murderer!” as Murray was making his exit…
