Harry Potter and Equus star Daniel Radcliffe participated in the 2008 Gypsy of the Year competition, which benefits the amazing Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS charity!
Daniel gave Broadway Cares an interview while he was at the Gypsy of the Year! In the video, Dan discusses the importance of Broadway Cares and even performs a hysterical musical Equus spoof with his fellow cast members!
Broadway Cares/Equity fights AIDS is the theatre community’s response to the growing AIDS crisis. Broadway Cares uses its talents, resources and generosity of the theatrical community, on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and all across the country to raise money to fight the disease. Since it was founded in 1988, BC/EFA has raised over $140 million for critically needed services for people with AIDS, HIV, or HIV-related illness!
