Dakota Fanning, one of Hollywood’s most talented young stars, could be starring in an upcoming ‘Wizard of Oz’ sequel.
Producer Basil Iwanyk said, ‘It will be set in the present day and feature Dorothy’s granddaughter. You’ve still got Dorothy trapped in an odd place, but she’s much closer to the Ripley character from Alien than a helpless singing girl.’
No word yet on whether or not Dakota will be singing or dancing, but you can bet with her as the leading lady, it will be a hit!
