I am Sam star Dakota Fanning could be joining stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in the upcoming film, New Moon! E! Online revealed that Dakota is in talks for the role of Jane! Jane is a member of the Volturi, and elite and deadly family of vampires in Italy! In the novel, Jane is described as a petite blonde with an angelic face. Certainly sounds like Dakota.
According to the source, ‘There were no auditions. They just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations. They’ve been going back and forth.’
It seems as though the fan opinion is really being considered during the casting for New Moon, because fans were signing petitions for Dakota to have the role.
New Moon starts filming in March and is set to hit theatres on November 20th! Do you want to see Dakota as Jane?

i think she should play the role of jane she looks exactly like imagined she would i really hope she gets it but lucas so should not be in it at all it will ruin the film all together
When I first heard that Dakota woul play Jane I was not happy. However I have got a little more confidence in her now. Though she is not my first choice for the part I hope, for the sake of the Twilight Saga, that she does well.
