Cindy Crawford nearly lost her “cool mom” status when it was rumored that she bans Disney’s Hannah Montana in her house because it makes her daughter “sassy” but now her rep says that that’s so not true.
The quote that hit the web rumor mill was, “I love Hannah Montana, but [my daughter] learns to be sassy from that show. I’ll say to her, ‘I don’t let anyone talk to me like that. I’ll certainly not take it from a 7-year-old in my own house,’” but apparently those words didn’t leave the supermodel’s mouth.
Her rep released a statement that denied the statement as truth.
“I don’t know where this quote came from. It doesn’t sound like Cindy,” the rep said. “I just spoke to Cindy, and she said that she is a fan of ‘Hannah Montana,’ and she has taken her daughter to multiple shows.”
She went to Miley’s 16th birthday party for goodness sakes!
Hmm…hard to say why/how this rumor got started but somehow I doubt that Miley Cyrus is too worried about being dissed by Cindy.
