Congratulations to R&B Star, Chris Brown, on being named Billboards Artist of the Year!
“It’s bigger than what I can ever imagine. It’s unexpected totally, so it’s a surprise,” Brown said in an interview Thursday.
This isn’t Brown’s first time winning this award ( he won in 2006), but 2008 was a great year for him! He had some huge solo hits such as “With You” and “Forever” and great collaborations like “No Air” with Idol winner, Jordin Sparks! He also won 3 awards at last month’s American Music Awards!
The 18- year old star says he still can’t get used to all of the honors!
“I’ve had a good year but I still feel like a little insecure in those parts. I’m like, `There’s little ol’ me getting an award’ — that’s incredible,” he said.
Again, Congrats to Chris!!
