Vanessa Hudgens, main squeeze of Zac Efron and High School Musical star, was snapped by photographers at the ShoWest Awards on Thursday evening. The stunning starlet was all smiles during a conversation with How I Met Your Mother Star Neil Patrick Harris. The pair costar in the upcoming film Beastly. Hudgens plays Lindy Taylor, a beautiful, New York teen transformed into an ugly beast in order to find true love in a modern take on the old classic “Beauty and The Beast.” Harris plays Will Fratalli, a tutor who assists Kyle Kingson, played by Alex Pettyfer. The horror, fantasy, and romance driven film also stars Peter Krause, Mary Kate Olsen, and Lisa Gay Hamilton. It is set for release July 30 2010 and is based upon the screenplay written by Daniel Barnz.

Hudgens accepted the ShoWest Award for 2010 Female Star of Tomorrow at last night’s show.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens: Oscars After Hours

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted post Oscars at an after hours event hosted by Vanity Fair. The couple, who costarred in Disney’s “High School Musical” movies, have dated since 2005.

The pair has kind of fallen out of the spotlight but have not fallen off of Hollywood’s radar. Seems the pair have been busy working on their nearly 5 year relationship and on films. Efron has been working on “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud” and is slated to be the new “Jonny Quest” in the film by the same name, set for release in 2011. Hudgens has just wrapped filming “Beastly” in which she portrays Linda Taylor, set to release later this year. Hudgens just signed on to play Blondie in the film “Sucker Punch” next year.

Acadamy Awards Announce Miley, Efron, Twilight Stars as Presentors

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Monday that Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron and “Twilight” co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be presenting at the Oscars. The awards at the awards show will be held in Los Angeles on March 7.

In an effort to boost ratings, Oscar organizers have signed on some of Hollywood’s youngest celebrities. Sean Penn, Kate Winslet, and Penelope Cruz, all former Academy Award winners, will also be presenting awards.

Zac Efron Shopping In Beverly Hills

Zac Efron, star of “17 Again” and “High School Musical” was out shopping yesterday in Beverly Hills. Looking all the more manly than boyish in his punky-prep attire, Efron hit the designer shops on Robertson Boulevard, perhaps in search of the perfect Valentine’s Gift for girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens.

It has been a while since Efron has been in the spotlight. That is certain to change with his next rumored project. Efron is set to spread his acting chops in the thriller “Fire.” Taken from Marvel Comics writer Brian Michael Bendis, Zac is set to play a college student/CIA operative who’s “marked for termination.” Sounds interesting.

The Insider reports the birthday girl spent a lot of time cozying up with boyfriend Zac Efron over the weekend.

Vanessa and Zac were seen hitting the gym together in matching black hoodies, despite the heavy rain on Saturday night.

Sunday they were spotted dining and shopping together.

‘High School Musical’ star Zac Efron and actress Claire Danes stopped by ‘The View’ to chat up their new film, ‘Me and Orson Welles‘. As usual, there was a little bickering between the ladies, but most of the conversation focused on the actors.

They talked about Zac’s feature in People’s Sexiest Man Alive, Claire’s husband Hugh Dancy, and the haunted theatre they worked in on their latest film! Check out the interview below.

Zac Efron’s latest project, Me and Orson Welles, will hit theatres November 25, 2009. The film depicts Richards Samuels a teenager cast in the Orson Welles ‘Julius Ceasar’ production. The film also co-stars Claire Danes.

High School Musical starlet Ashley Tisdale claims that kissing Zac Efron on The Suite Life was “disgusting”

“I did kiss Zac though. But that wasn’t in High School Musical. That was on Suite Life. That was behind closed doors. No, I’m just joking! That was disgusting actually. It was! He’s my best friend and so he’s like my brother and I’ve never been attracted to him cause he looked like he was 12 when I met him so…..So when I had to kiss him in the episode I’m like first of all it’s my best friend’s boyfriend and it’s awkward enough. But it’s like kissing your brother almost… But he made it really fun and comfortable.”

Sorry, Ash, but I think millions of girls would have traded places with you!
