Justin Guarini marries high school pal

American Idol alum Justin Guarini tied the knot with his high school friend, Reina Capodici, 27, on Saturday, according to People. The couple celebrated their union with a small group of family and friends, including Reina’s 4 year old daughter Lola.

Justin is currently a TV correspondent for TV Guide. According to the singer’s rep, “The wedding went off without a hitch.”

Nothing is better on an award show than when a celebrity makes a complete ass of themselves! Here’s our list of some of the most outrageous moments in Award Show History.

10. Bret Michael’s Knocks himself Out

You can’t ever invite a rocker to the Tony Awards! At the 2009 Tony Awards, while performing their hit “Nothin’ but a Good Time”, Poison front-man, Bret Michaels, was taking a bow and when he turned around ran right into a GIANT backdrop. Bret did suffer a broken nose and black eyes from the incident.

9. Bruno Lands in the lap of Eminem

Controversy erupted during the 2009 MTV Movie Awards when comedian, Sascha Baron Cohen, AKA Bruno, landed in the lap of rapper Eminem. Bruno, wearing only a diaper seemed to infuriate the rapper as he shoved Bruno out of his lap and then stormed out of the auditorium. We later found out the incident was staged but it caused an uproar non-the-less.

8. Andy Williams “Stevie Can You See Us Now”

Although, there isn’t a video clip, Grammy Award Host, Andy Williams may have embarrassed himself more than he ever thought possible. During the 1976 Grammy Awards, Stevie Wonder was set to give a live performance from Nigeria. Technical difficulties erupt, preventing Stevie from being connected to the Grammy Stage. Frustrated with the difficulties, host, Andy yells out. “Stevie Can you see us Now?” Ouch…..poor Stevie! If that was present day we’d have 5 million youtube hits of that clip.

7. Ol’ Dirty Bastard thinks Wu Tang Clan should’ve won

I’ll give ODB this, Sonny Came Home was an extremely obnoxious song and singer Shawn Colvin was just as annoying but to interrupt and talk about how expensive your outfit was and how Wu Tang should have won, is just rude! At least it was the song writer and co-writer who were about to accept…how many people really care what they have to say anyway?

6. 50 Cent Expresses his displeasure that Evanescence beat him for Best New Artist

Rapper 50 Cent wasn’t happy when he lost Best New Artist to rockers Evanescence at the 2004 Grammy Awards. So much so that as lead singer, Amy Lee, began the groups acceptance speech, 50 Cent cut in front of her on stage. Amy saw him coming and calmly said, this is my first time up here, what did I do?

5. Kanye West HATES MTV

Kanye is making yet another appearance on our list…for his tirade at the 2007 VMAs. After his own video for ‘Gold Digger’ didn’t take home top video, Kanye exploded backstage. Saying that last year he lost to the Black Eyed Peas and *&^% MTV. Maybe Kanye should have thought about his own advice and not attended the 2009 VMAs.

4. Heidi Montag’s First and Last “Live” Performance

We all know that anytime Heidi Montag and her piece-o-crap husband, Spencer Pratt, are involved we need to disregard most of what happens, in this case – please disregard the entire performance. Making her “singing” debt on television, Heidi Montag took to the stage to perform her singe, “Body Language”. Not only were Heidi’s dance moves horrendous she couldn’t even lip-sync the words to her OWN song.

3. Country Cat-Fight: Faith Hill vs Carrie Underwood

Fully expecting to win Female Vocalist of the Year, Faith Hill, expresses her displeasure over Carrie Underwood taking home the hardware. As they announce Carrie has won, Faith gets right in front of the camera on her backstage and screams “What” throwing her hands up and then appearing to storm off stage. Faith tried to spin it that she was joking, you be the judge. I’m going with Faith was pretty pissed!

2. Britney Spears: Opening the 2007 VMAs with “Gimme More”

Delaying her triumphant return, Britney attempted to make herself a house-hold name again….she did accomplish that but not in a positive way. Britney not only didn’t perform well but much was made about her not looking great either.

1. Kanye disrespects VMA Winner, Taylor Swift

While accepting her first VMA for Female Video of the Year, Cross-over Queen, Taylor Swift, was left holding only her Moon Man. As Taylor began her speech, Kanye West ran up on stage, grabbed the microphone from Taylor and began to shout how Beyonce had the greatest video and that she should have won. Taylor calmly walked off stage…not sure what I would have done.
