Carlos Castro a Portuguese journalist, was found dead in a luxury New York City Times Square hotel room.

Castro was brutally beaten and mutilated inside a room the Intercontinental Hotel. According to NYC police sources, a fight broke out between Castro and his younger partner, Renato Seabra. Castro, a well-known gay rights activist had been bludgeoned in the head and his scrotum cut-off, this again according to the NYPD.

His suspected killer is Renato Seabra, a Portuguese male model who was staying with Castro at the InterContinental. Seabra was found later at Roosevelt Hospital when a cab drive called 911 after dropping the man off at the hospital and seeing his photo on the news.

Detectives think Seabra grabbed a laptop and bashed Castro over the head with it. As the journalist lay bleeding on the floor of the disheveled room, the model used a broken wine glass to castrate his lover.

Seabra has been taking to Bellevue hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. Seabra was a working model and former reality tv star.
