Breaking Dawn Won’t Be In 3-D
Twilight fans are going to be disappointed. The upcoming, 2 part installments of the Twilight saga will not be filmed in 3-D, despite previous buzz to the contrary. An insider at Summit Entertainment spilled the news to Gossip Cop and stated: “Neither film is being shot in 3-D” and that all rumors claiming it would be are absolutely “fabricated.”
MTV News received confirmation straight from the production company that reiterated the insider’s sentiment.
Kristen Stewart offered to her opinion to MTV News in early summer. Stewart stated: “I’m probably speaking out of line or whatever but I think it would be awesome. Nobody knows what’s it’s like to look through the eyes of a vampire. What if [Bella] opens her eyes to this extraordinary world? It could be cool.”
Taylor Lautner, who portrays Jacob Black in the hit film series, quipped “Usually, 3-D is best when it takes you into another world. I could see it going both ways. As long as we have the story line down and as long as we bring what was written on the pages in the book to life, then we’ll be fine no matter what we do.”
Despite the potentially amazing affect 3-D versions of Breaking Dawn could be, it looks like the film will be offered in a standard format…for now.
