Beyonce, being the class act that she is, gave up her acceptance speech time to Taylor Swift, after Kanye West interrupted Taylor’s first opportunity.
Beyonce said, “I remember being 17 years old, up for my first mtv award with Destiny’s Child, and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So I’d like for Taylor to come out and have her moment.”
Taylor went on to thank her fans as well as the director of her video! What a great way to end the night.
