According to the LA county coroner’s office, an autopsy will be performed on Whitney Houston’s body either late tonight or tomorrow.

TMZ is reporting that Whitney’s body was discovered by her stylist, hairdresser and two bodyguards. Whitney’s entourage became worried, after she had been in her room for over an hour. According to reports, Whitney was found submerged in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel.

Houston’s hairdresser went in to check on Houston and found the singer in the tub with her face under water and her legs up, looking as though she slid down the back of the tub. Bodyguards attempted CPR on Houston, who remained unresponsive. Paramedics arrived shortly thereafter, and the singer was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m..
