Probably best known for her role as Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical franchise, Ashley Tisdale isn’t just an actress. She can dance and oh yeah, she can sing.
Ashley’s latest effort, “Guilty Pleasure” lands in stores today. Her first single, ‘It’s Alright, It’s Ok’, has quickly found it’s way onto my treadmill playlist.

After having a chance to preview Ashley’s CD, I can tell you it’s one you should add to your collection. Some of Sugarslam’s favorite tracks on this albums? How do you love someone is an almost dark look at how you keep from getting hurt and keeping your dignity, one of the softer songs on the album. Me Without You, is another ballad on the album, about finding that person who’ll pull you through anything. In our opinion, should be released as a single.
Ashley co-wrote 4 of the songs on this album, calling this “I’m growing up and this is music I would listen to. On this record, I’m not catering to anyone other than to who I am as a person. I think all of these songs have a message and a story that anyone can relate to. I couldn’t sing them if I didn’t connect with them myself.
There are upbeat songs, dance songs and ballads. Overall a great effort from Ashley! Check out ‘Guilty Pleasure’ today!
