To me that looks like an older picture because they both look a bit younger in this shot. Most likely they already dated in the past before even the first Twilight movie was made. Used to Live in L.A. and actors tend to stay in pretty tight knit circles so it’s not uncommon to date other actors and then break up amicable and become friends… Relationships are much more casual or laid back when you’re an actor… You never know if you might have to work with them down the road or have a love scene with someone else when your dating someone.
