Anna Fermanova is a hot Russian spy from Texas, or so recent reports indicate. The twenty four year old Plano, Texas transplant from Latvia is the latest hottie nabbed by officials for smuggling high tech military gear to Moscow.
The licensed cosmoetoloist and University of Phoenix student spends lots of time in Russia but frequently returns to the states to visit her parents. Fermanova was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials on March 1, 2010 at New York’s JFK International Airport. Officials received an anonymous tip and discovered Raptor night vision and advanced rifle sights tucked away in Fermanova’s Uggs. Officials confiscated the equipment despite Fermanova’s claims she had purchased the sights for her husband and friend in Moscow. Fermanova was then allowed to continue on to Moscow but was arrested upon returning to the U.S. on July 15, 2010.
Fermanova has denied the spy allegations and remains under house arrest within her parents’ home.
