Former American Idol contestant, Alexis Cohen, was killed in a hit-and-run accident Saturday, in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
Alexis, remembered for her famed rant of American Idol during 2007 auditions, she had since been trying her hand as a stand-up comic.
According to the Ocean City Prosecutors office, Alexis suffered head and abdominal injuries after colliding with an “out of control vehicle.” Her can was found parked approximately 300 yards away. Authorities are still looking for further information in the case.
